Unique Elizabethan Walls are a few minutes away from the cottage which overlooks the heritage coastline of Northumberland which is famed for the River Tweed. Parking is available for residents and tenants of the house.

Take a walk throughout this border town and explore both the Northumberland and Scottish borders. The following attractions are always a must see during your visit. All of our customers comment on the beautiful landscapes and coastal scenery.

3) Alnwick Garden is a short 30 minute drive by car.

Edinburh and Newcastle Upon Tyne are both an hour away.

The house is located far from airports and train stations but if you do travel to Northumberland by train or to a scottish airport then you may still wish to book a vehicle ready for your arrival to drive to the house. Newcastle Airport and Edinburgh Airport are the closest airports to the property and offer cheap internal flights.
